Misleading information on the contact lenses reward scema made not possible to make an informative decision. The web site does have incomplete information too.
People just assume you are signing in for the schema and don't tell you that you'll have to pay £30 if you don't for the final check. Optometrist just tell you 'we need to see you' so you think it's part of the fitting. This is not explained on the website either.
Some people may use lenses less than the minimum order required by the scheme. I've been also suggested to sign on for the scheme until I have enough lenses, not thinking that my prescription can change and this would be a waste of money for me.
Three appointments for contact lenses fixing and all with different optometrist.
Information only provided in a leaflet instead of explaining them.
The pre sight health check tests could have been better. I was not told what was going on and was very surprised when the machine started blowing air in my eyes.
all good
Nothing to say, I've already indicated it was great
This was my first visit to Boots for my sight test. I shop in the store all the time. I'm usually a Specsavers customer. I was told the appointments were running late and apologised too by a friendly woman who was at a desk in the waiting area and then finally 30 mins after took through for my test by Nina who was again very nice and professional but then again I had to wait for someone to help me with my glasses.
All in all the staff are excellent but it's very clear for everyone to see this store was understaffed.
Unfortunately I didn't purchase glasses I was put off and needed to get back to work. I just hope that if I do return you will have someone ready to help me without having to wait again.
