I wasn't very unhappy with the service I received. It was my first eye test as an adult and as such was apprehensive. The woman who took me through for the first part of the eye test was aware of my concerns and seemed to find it humerace, with such quotes as "if you need glasses you might want to consider contacts" which I replied "are you saying I need glasses" she then said "well I can't say the optician will let you know". In addition the optician for the 2nd part of my test seemed rushed and I did not appreciate them continueing to plug contact lenses. I found the whole experience quite distressing and as a result will not be returning.

We have recently visited the Boots Opticians Manchester - Market Street for eye tests and 4 new pairs of glasses and contact lens. All the visits were enjoyable and we received excellent service. We would like to praise the following people: Franck, the Store Manager, who is always very welcoming, attentive and helpful; Amy provided excellent guidance on choosing frames; Louise, who is so knowledgeable on the contact lens; Janet has been very helpful in adjusting the frames to get them just right. We would like to send our thanks to these outstanding professionals and will recommend to others without any reservations.

Was disappointed that the previous appointment had not been updated so when I needed to collect my lenses they would not give me my lenses as needed to attended an aftercare appointment. When i told the assistant she looked it up and said I hadn't been since 2015 which I had as they would not give me my lenses. The assistant eventually found my uoto date info. The assistant was really nice and made my appointment worth while as by discussing different type of lenses and gave me some to try.
