The only part of my appointment that I was let down on was the final consultation. As I hadn't worn glasses in years I wasn't 100% sure on the process and what I had to do next. The consultant took for granted that I did and more or less sent me on my way with my prescription. He didn't offer me to look at frames, lay out what I needed clearly and what the process would be I.e how long it would take if I did choose frames, how much it would cost etc. It was very confusing and the consultant, knowing that I was confused even apologised to me after for confusing me. I left having to go home and ask a friend what I needed to do. Overall, there could be more care taken with the customer in mind, and what it's like to be in their shoes, rather than assuming they have the knowledge that they do.
