I had my contact lens check & eye test at Boots on London Wall. This is the first time that I've had these done on the same visit. It makes a lot of sense as saves multiple appointments. I had my contact lens check with Neil, who is always fantastic. My eye test was with another optician & in between the two, I had what I assume to be visual field test. It was conducted using a machine/screen in between the main optician shop area & the opticians offices. The machine is squeezed into a small area, & this is where I had to remain for a good five minutes after the test. During that time, a delivery driver came in with a load of boxes to be delivered, was chatting to the staff etc. I, personally, would say this is a really inappropriate place to have this machine & to be seated for any amount of time whilst you can't really see as don't have glasses on etc. It gives the impression the area as a whole (shop & optician offices) are just too small to work, otherwise you wouldn't be squeezing people in there. I thought it was quite unsatisfactory.

On line booking awful - I still haven't got a password reset. Gave up on the phone, in the end actually walked in to store to book appointment - The actual appointment wasn't required until August! Even though I have now received SIX reminders in the post stating that appointment is due!

Very friendly and helpful branch. I've recently changed to this branch and while I generally have positive experiences with Boots Opticians, I found this branch particularly friendly and accommodating.

The staff at the London wall branch were very friendly and helpful. The Optometrist explained everything that she was doing and made me feel very comfortable. The staff on the shop floor were great at helping me choose glasses since I was unable to bring someone along with me to help me pick.
