There was a bit of confusion between the sales associate and the the optometrist. I had signed up to the contact lens reward scheme but wasn't given the 50% off for the glasses I purchased. The optometrist kindly made a note to take £25 off my first contact lens payment instead. The team there were very helpful and kind.
