The check was professional and great, but I got there to get a free contact lenses test, as the title of the link I booked the appointment through hints: http://www.boots.com/en/Opticians/Contact-Lenses/Free-contact-lens-assessment-and-trial/ The page doesn't say anywhere the test is only free for new contact lenses users, the optometrist knew it wasn't the first time I had contact lenses, yet I was charged for the test. When I said that to the salesperson, he just blurted, "oh, it doesn't". I understand that I will get a free trial pair of contacts, but doesn't really make up for the fact I've been misled. I don't mind paying for a good service, and I did pay. However, I believe this information should be shared when making the appointment, and not sneakily when it's too late to make a different decision.

Kate Rowley OPL noticed very high eye pressure in my right eye (I was diagnosed with Pseudoexfoliation syndrome in December 2015 and take drops) and referred me to Western Eye Hospital at once.I was admitted there and had an injection to lower the pressure. I am enormously grateful to her!

Booking the intial appointment over the phone was not smooth, as the operator put me on hold three times due to computer problems. Asked many of my details more than once, as we had to go back to beginning when looking up alternatives to appoitment times. The call took too long. He was friendly though. The prescreening at Boots went quite smoothly, and the staff was ready to see me as soon as I arrived. The optometrist seem dedicated to her work and offering customers best possible service. She seemed kind of passionate about her job at Boots which was nice to see. Too often professionals in London act like they really dont care and are at work just to do what is required for monthly salary. Any question beyond the usual template isn't desired. This had been my experience at Specsavers, yet Boots was more professionally accommodative. Thanks! This was enough for me and my eyes but mayb someone with more eye problems should go see a practise with links to eye doctors.

Easy to arrange. Eye test machine was faulty so some times wasted.
