Would not recommend. Whilst initial appointment was reasonable as the young lady helping me was herself training and was left on her own most of the time so it was a bit of a struggle. The real issue I have is with the value of the service against what I ended up with. I paid over £200 for a single pair of glasses which were not designer frames as they didn't have any cheaper frames. In contrast my daughter went to another high st optician and got two for £69 ... so even taking into account the differences in lens types mine was extremely poor value. To make matter worse mine took in excess of two weeks to arrive and it was only by chance that calling into the branch I was told they had just arrived. My Daughters was ready in two days. Next time I am going to that same retailer and not Boots.. sorry but low quality service and high priced goods does not provide good value to me.

I've used Boots London Bishopsgate Opticians for over 15 years and have always found them excellent. Fittings with the wonderful Anna are always a joy - so kind and conscientious.

I missed my original appointment but they fitted me in very quickly without an appointment to fit my new glasses. Rose was very friendly and helpful and my new glasses are a perfect fit. Thank you.

The store manager Pedro, was really helpful and went out of his way to arrange replacement contact lenses within the hour, even though my supplier was another optician. Pedro went over and above what was required, and chased my optician for the prescription 3 times so that they could give me a replacement contact lens. Boots provided a far better service than my own optician. I have been back to the store a second time when I tore a contact lens in my eye and Pedro got me into see the optician straight away to remove the pieces of contact lens. I highly recommend this store and their outstanding customer service.
