Prior to making this appointment, I did actually make sure that it was a regular optometrist, as had a very bad experience with a locum last year, who was border line rude and I didn't go away with any faith in him knowing what he was doing. I also received a very hard sell by staff on add-ons available with lenses, prior to even getting a new prescription and it felt that it was all about the money. I have found this a few times since Boots took over the Dolland & Aitchson branch. Fortunately, on this occasion the appointment went well, so I try again next year.
