I usually have a good experience when I visit Brahead opticians but not this visit. The first part of the eye test when you are being tested in the small dark room was awful. Not the workers fault I may add. It should be only one customer at a time. I could hardly hear any of the instructions because of other customer being told what to do. Very confusing. The next part of the test was a one to one with the optometrist and was excellent.

I was happy with my consultation..very thorough. However, I'm very familiar with the routine as I've been attending Boots opticians for many years. If I'd been a new patient I would have been bamboozled by the choice of lens finishes and the prices of them. It would be useful to give patients the price list and explanation prior to the consultation as it would be a chance to accustome oneself with the options available.

Eye test seemed very thorough and optometrist provided plenty of helpful and useful information about caring for eyes. All staff were friendly, courteous making the whole experience very enjoyable and pleasurable.
