When I arrived at Braehead opticians Alex conducted my eye test and contact lenses trial, I could not fault Alex in any way. He throughly checked my eyes and discussed different lenses available to me. He didn't have all options available for my to take away and trial in my prescription strength, he promised he would order them in and someone would phone me later on in the week to collect them. I waited 6 days before I returned to the shop (after no phone call) to see if the lenses had came in, they had, I was asked to make another appointment before I could take the trail lenses away. When I explained this wasn't explained to me by Alex the staff became rude. I said I struggled to wear glasses to my work and I needed contact lenses, they refused to give me the trial packs, explaining that I had to be fitted to these lenses. I asked if they could give me another pack of the brand I had been given from Alex at my test to see me through till my appointment for the other fitting again I was refused, I was then questioned by staff why I couldn't wear glasses to work, because this was a personal choice as I find them uncomfortable as I spend most of the day with my head bowed down, they refused to help with more lenses and continued to speech to me in a rudely manner in front of my children. This resulted in me asking them to cancel my appointment and to remove my name from the system as I wouldn't be returning.
