I have always been reluctant to have eye drops put into my eyes due to a previous accident many years ago, which left it impossible to see to the back of one eye. I had also been told by one of the young boys (who fixes/alters your new glasses) that it was very unpleasant and he did not recommend it. However both my son and I had an appointment the same afternoon (he spoke to the optometrist privately) and with the reassurance from the optometrist and his manner and attitude towards my fear I went ahead with the drops and I am so glad I did. My fear has gone. He was so understanding. Thank you
