I recently visited Boots Opticians High Street Ely to arrange an eye test, the appointment was made for me by a very friendly helpful member of staff (sorry but I didn't get her name), I was given the date that suited me , and when I arrived I was greeted by Tamara, a very friendly staff member. I only had to wait for short time for my preliminary test, I was made to feel comfortable and had everything explained to me to put me at ease (sorry but I don't have her name either) The Optometrist I the saw ( Mr Nigel Coley) was very friendly and also very professional, I had a very thorough eye test and helpful recommendations about my lens requirements. I was then seen by Natalie who was very friendly and very helpful in helping me choose the frames and explaining other aspects of getting the right glasses to suit my requirements. I was impressed with all the members of the Boots staff that I have seen and would certainly recommend Boots for getting your eyes tested. Thanks to all the staff....

I visited Boots Optician recently and I was assisted by Natalie, very friendly and helpful person. She helped me to find the best lenses for me, as well as ensure that my new glasses (once they arrived) can be weared comfortable. I would like to thank Natalie for all her help.

Have a very high need prescription. Have had contact lenses (gas permeable) for 34 years. Nigel suggested I try soft disposable, something that all other opticians have said is not suitable for my prescription. For the first time ever I am wearing lenses I can't feel, my last pair made me want to scratch my eyes out after a few hours, although to be fair the vision was good. Am very happy with the new ones. The only issue I now have is night time driving, suddenly the light dazzle is unnerving to say the least and I have had my confidence severely knocked, so much so that I will keep my gas permeable ones handy in the car in case it gets dark, not ideal.
