Although my appointment was easy enough to arrange, I was the one who had to call and check when my check up was due, and it turned out my check-up was due back in September. Due to this being a contact lenses check-up I am aware a hold can be put on receiving contact lenses through the post if you don't attend your yearly check-up. This is what happened to me last year as I never received a reminder for my check-up then either. Hopefully I will receive a reminder next year.

Great experience at Boots Edinburgh Princes Street on Sunday afternoon - Waqas, the optometrist, was approachable and very helpful. He explained the process of the sight test well. A special thank you to Donald who helped fix my glasses nose pads - this has made such a difference to my frame and I am really grateful to Donald for sorting this, excellent customer care.
