I would highly recommend Boots Opticians. They went that extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my glasses despite the fact my previous pair were outside the warranty period. I had previously experienced trouble with the frames which Boots repaired on each occasion . However it got to the point that they needed replaced. Boots were happy to do that at no cost to myself. That's what I would call customer service !!!

Lots of helpful advice given in consultation and an efficient system working between optical assistant and optometrist. Staff were very helpful with questions or assistance I was looking for, adjusting my frames and giving contact lens advice.

My appointment started 20 minutes late but this delay was never acknowledged and I was offered no explanation or apology. My optician was great and explained everything very clearly. I thought it was inappropriate to push me to buy a new pair of glasses based on a tiny change in the prescription in one eye - it seemed I was expected to go ahead and do that rather than consider whether it was worth the extra expense.

My experience was what would expect. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was a chore. I've been a customer for many years now, 8 or 9 at least. The consistently is nice in a world where many others can't sustain such a high level and I think that's reflective of a caring management and professional staff who like their job.

Melanie was my contact lens specialist and she put alot of time and effort into finding the best contact lens for me. I really appreciate the time she took to get the correct lenses as I have very high prescription. She is very professional at her job and shows great patient care. I can only praise her for what she did for me and would recommend boots to all my friends and family. What a great team.
