Appointment was really easy to schedule, optometrist was very friendly and helpful. I was lucky enough to be able to have my eye test and contact lense free trial fitting on the same day. They also had my contact lense prescription in stock so I was able to take them away on the day, great! I made an appointment for a re check 2 weeks later as advised. After the check I was told I would need to buy lenses there and then. I was really disappointed as I had not been made aware of this prior to my re check appointment and couldn't really say no at that point. I was charged £46 for 30 acuvue pairs. Online, I found I could get the exact same amount/brand for £24 through lens saver! Even the direct debit scheme didn't compare to this price. I did feel the price of the contact lenses and the fact I wasn't told I would need to purchase lenses on my recheck day was disappointing and did take the shine off what had been up to that point a really good experience. Perhaps informing clients exactly what they will need to pay for during the free trial and comparing your prices to other competitive sites would be beneficial.
