After receiving my letter informing me I was due a check up I booked an appointment through your online system. This was quick and easy to use. I arrived at my appointment and did the initial tests of "looking down the road" and getting pictures of the back of my eye. I then waited to see the optemitrist. A few moments later I was called into the consulting room and when the lady pulled my records up she said I wasn't due a check up until January 2018. I questioned this as I had received a letter through the post asking me to book a check up however she showed me the screen and it definitely said January 2018. She then told me that because I wasn't due a checkup she could not complete the eyetest as it would not be claimed on the NHS and I was sent away. Therefore I wasnted my whole morning getting to the appointment which did not happen due to your incompetent systems.
