Clare took my appointment booking by telephone and warmly welcomed me when I arrived. She explained Martin would do my eye test. And she'd help me choose glasses. She understood my anxieties and concerns around choosing and wearing and making glasses work for me, because I'm passionate about wearing contact lenses....but do need to get into the habit of wearing glasses sometimes too. Clare offered exceptional person service during the entire process. I'm ever so thankful to her. And Martin too, who Clare invited in, to support me in my final choices. I can't tell you how big a deal wearing glasses is for me. Clare has offered to be there when I pick them up, to help ensure I'm going away with knowing how to make them work for me. I so appreciate that too, as it's a big investment of money. And emotional energy. And time.

I have attended a Boots optician for a number of years, both in Musselburgh and in Edinburgh. I have always thought it to be a very efficient and friendly service and whichever optician I've had has taken care to explain everything clearly and answer any questions I may have.

Great service! Appointment was made quickly and at a time that suited. Everything was explained during the pre checks. I was introduced to a full range of frames and was given guidance to what suited. Claire who processed my sale was very helpful and efficient!! I can't wait to get my new glasses.

Martin is a gifted Optician and people person, he made me feel at ease very quickly and ensured I understood everything he was telling me. As he had time, Martin even helped me to choose my new frames which I thought was a nice touch. I would recommend Martin to anyone needing an eye test; he and his team are very accommodating.
