Very booked up - first appointment was a week after I went in to book. I guess this could have been reasonable but I'd lost my reading glasses. The lady on reception was very helpful and checked with the optometrist which "off the shelf readers" would be best to tide me over. Everyone doing the tests was very friendly and explained what they were doing.clearly. They were careful to advise me on the best frame shape to fit my face comfortably and made sure I was aware of offers that might assist me, in particular that I could come back and get an extra 3rd set as long as I found the reading glasses were right for me and that the half price offer would apply to them if I came back within 3 months
