The optician- Andrea - was the best I've seen at Boots. Friendly, explained everything and was patient with my questions. Emilie(?), the trainee assistant, again was lovely. Professional but personable. My only complaint would be that one of the male members of staff kept calling her darling, which I felt was really patronising and unprofessional.
