My eye test was to obtain a free set of glasses after a year returning to the store. On multiple visits, I complained about my glasses, but was always told the prescription was ok. My eye test confirmed that my eyes were similar to a previous test. This suggested that I did not need new glasses last year and I did not need to spend a year with glasses that impacted on my day to day life. The assistant manager was the first person to offer a remedy 15 months after I first complained. I am disappointed that I had to wait all that time before someone listened to me. I have received a new set of glasses and a 50% refund for one pair. However, this should not have taken so long. I am disappointed in how this was managed until recently. It demonstrates poor customer service and a reluctance to recognise a genuine complaint at an early stage and resolve it.
