The only problem I had was that I had to bring my 98 year old mother with me and unfortunately we were 10 mins late and our appointments were cancelled. I would recommend you state this procedure in your appointment request. Because of my mother's age, I argued the problem and finally it was agreed that my mother would be seen albeit 2 hours later. A week later I was unable to see my usual consultant, but the lady I saw was very helpful.
