I found the majority of staff were unhelpful, never smiled and forgetting to update the computer that I had turned up for the appointment, meaning I waited 45 minutes, missed my slot with the optician I was scheduled to see, and had to be slotted in to see whoever was available. On previous visits this had also happened with only a 'sorry about that' as an apology. However, I would state that all of the opticians themselves were exceptionally good and thorough and I cannot fault them. Personally I feel it is the staff on the check in desk who let Boots down and should be taught, that a smile costs nothing.
