friendly and competent staff who explained everything
The assistant who sorted my pre eye test checks was not good, she proceeded to speak very loudly about my financial status but calling to me to clarify how I would qualify for a free test. I didn't appreciate this at all and this should be something which is confidentially filled in.
My optometrist Polly is fantastic. I see her every time and she is always knowledgeable and helpful. I feel my eyes are well looked after by Polly
Wasn't told my contact lens check up was due, so they stopped my postal delivery of lenses until my appointment - which was after I'd run out. Very poor.
Was looked after well, glasses were recommended but I didn't get any as I don't wear them. A referral was made to ophthalmologist through my GP as my pressures were higher than 21, it would have been nice to actually know the exact number. I would also have liked to see the results of my visual fields testing, though was told that it was fine.
The Canterbury boots team are very friendly and professional. They do their best to help you with everything and are extremely chatty and nice.
however, the whole system is completely disorganised. For one the boots reward scheme website is a complete tragedy. How can such a big company be operating such a slow and useless website. Even the staff are always apologising for the system running slowly- SORT IF OUT BOOTS.
Furthermore, after many attempts North road boots Brighton failed to transfer me over to the Canterbury whitefriars after I moved. I'd also like to add that it has been a long and inconvenient experience waiting for the Canterbury team to find my records/for the Brighton team to send it over.
These concerns have been enough to make me consider changing opticians, despite the friendly service and good prices.
