Boots Opticians at Canterbury have always been extremely professional, caring and helpful since I started visiting them from year 2000 on moving nearer to the area; previously I used another Boots Opticians and the exact same can be said of them too. Always plenty of willing staff available and, even if the shop is busy, staff always acknowledge their patients! Useful advice and care information given by optometrist; very thorough eye tests and same with contact lense appointments/aftercare. Good choice of 'affordable' own-brand glasses in store; staff do not seem pushy to sell more/newer glasses unless necessary; discount scheme applies for extra glasses if paying for monthly contact lense programme; points awarded with lenses/glasses collection; overall, all staff involved from start to finish and over the phone care/advice is exceptional!

I booked an eye-test appointment with a free contact lenses trial using the online system. I arrived on time for my appointment and got told that my eye-test would be at 12.40pm and my contact lenses trial at 2pm. This was very annoying as this information was not displayed anywhere in the online system or the confirmation email/and reminder text message that I received. Furthermore, I would have appreciated that the price of the eye-test would have been clearly stated somewhere. Apart from these organisational issues, the staff were very professional and provided a very good service.

very helpful on the whole, though the "puffer test" quite traumatic and needed a bit more patience. is it necessary to have this every time even though there are only a few weeks between appointments?
