I went to the Optician's Department at Boots in Canterbury following surgery to a cataract. The Optician I saw was very helpful, kind and professional. She carried out a rigorous test of both my eyes, and was able to say that she would refer me for my second cataract operation. Her manner was excellent, she made my options extremely clear, and the whole process couldn't have been bettered in anhy way. I have been attending the Canterbury Optician's branch for something like thirty-five years, and have always been very happy with the care and service I've received.

Can only say it was an all round excellent experience

Routine was explained and everyone was friendly. As mine was the first appointment and the equipment for lense measurement was cold and as it was hot outside and I had just arrived the lense viewer kept misting up. There was a feature on the photo image of my eye and it suggested the start of cataract formation. I think a brief explanation from Tiffany on this might have been helpful as it triggered some concern even though she said it was not something that was urgent. wait for next appointment check. Helen, was very good when choosing my frames etc.
