The optometrist was great really helpful but i was made to comeback later for my practice session with the contact lenses whereas i thought it would be straight away after the optometrist. When i did return i was given an extremely uninterested and unqualified person to deal with me. She did not help or offer encouragement at all and after a few attempts i left as i was clearly not getting assistance. I then arranged another practice session at a later date and hopefully the assistant will be more helpful this time.

I booked two appointments for me and my husband. When we got to the shop the ladies behind the counter told us that there was only one booking despite my husband receiving a confirmation sms while on the shop and showing the email confirmation. We were told that it was not their problem but head office. My check up was on the other hand thorough and the optometrist was really nice. I refuse to pick up the free pair of contact lenses offered for trial as I don't want to put feet on this shop again ever. Customer service is appalling and no action was taken to rectify the issue. We don't live in Canary Wharf and we travelled there just to have the check up. It has been the first time and I can assure you is going to be the last one.

Clear and friendly communication

Very comprehensive and clear treatment. Optician was Darshini and was very professional throughout. Two areas that could be improved was the prescription. It was hand written and I would have expected some printed and electronic, perhaps stored in a database for future reference. A softer point was that while there was some buying advice, this was restricted by the range of products available at the store. A link to the wider range of products available via boots opticians would have made sense, along with offers to tempt me to shop for my glasses there. As it is it's highly unlikely that I'll buy glasses from boots as others (glasses direct, specsavers) seem to do that side of things much better...
