Whilst my overall view of Boots is good, hence why I went back then for my new glasses I was not happy to contract conjunctivitis within 24 hours of my eye test! This could be a pure coincidence but I do not believe this to be the case and hence I am very upset by this and is not a good advert for Boots

I was appalled at the customer service by one of the staff at the reception desk, my appointment was for 16.05, I was running a bit late (approx 2 mins) then there was a 5 minute queue with only that one lady serving people. When I got to the front of the queue she then proceeded to tell me ' im late and the time is 16.12' as opposed to apologizing for the long queue. I thought her manner was very rude and underminding and told her that I did not need to have my eye test done with Boots if this is how I will be treated. I did not get her name but the optician who carried out my eyetest knows who she is.

My sister made an appt 10 min after mine and they didnt call for her prescription from stanmore branch

They are very efficient and very friendly and helpful. I was also not cajoled into buying really expensive frames - they still spent time with me to find the right glasses for my face despite my budget. Thorough eye check and felt confident that they knew exactly what they were doing.
