All staff were warm and friendly. Staff recognised me from booking and welcomed me by name, and had my details ready when I walked in. Handover from one staff member to the other was smooth, and during the eye health check all details were explained.

Staff were friendly and helpful and the male Optician was very thorough and experienced. The lady who advised me on lenses spoke of the more expensive option, Zeiss lenses, which I ended up purchasing. I would have liked more info, on the Boots lenses, plus a price comparison; as I had stated I wanted to "keep the price down. I should have asked I realised. I got carried away 'in the moment.' My husband was not happy with me for overspending. I did phone to try and change my lenses, but the order had gone through. The lady did advise me, once ordered it couldn't be changed. It would be a good idea for staff to check with customer, "is this within your price budget" before the order is placed. The ladies were very helpful in helping me choose frames, so I would recommend this store, overall. I was given a discount of £54, when I phoned up, so was pleased about this. I would like to have a glass cleaning kit and an extra glasses case, as my glasses cost £486! Also, the Optician said my sight hadn't changed much, but suggested varifocals, as I said when reading, my eyes can be a bit blurry. Though overall, staff were very nice and helpful. In hindsight I think the Boots lenses would have been fine. Yet it will be nice to have a quality, bespoke pair of glasses. I am a little concerned I will get on with varifocals? ... after spending a large sum of money. So, hope any possible concerns could be viewed sympathetically? Also, this,was my first visit to Boots, Billericay. I went there as I had a voucher for a free eye test, upon purchasing frames & £20 off. Thank you.

As per all my visits your team were friendly and very helpful. They were also professional and explained the process and their recommendations. My only issue is the overall cost compared with online providers. Excluding cost a definite 10 out of10 Including costs 6 out of 10

The staff are very friendly & helpful although in my previous experience, the manager persuaded me to buy things which I did not need.
