The optometrist was be very professional and thorough, I had confidence in their ability. A somewhat slower explanation using less technical vocabulary would help my understanding. The open plan non clinical 'consultation' area I do not like, you are discussing personal information without any privacy, seems to make a nonsense of the data protection questions you are asked to agree to. I also found the non clinical staff overtly salesy, following a 15 min consultation and a 10 min chat they looking for you to spend a few hundred quid.
