I was really worried about self catheterisation. Sharon was the nurse who came to show me the procedures I would follow. She gave such an excellent explanation of how my body worked, what it should do and what it was actually doing. The explanation was so clear that I felt like a lay expert by the end. She explained how the system would work then explained all the benefits. I felt so much calmer after that and my demonstration. She even phoned the next day to check on my progress. How can you fault service like that; she was marvellous.
