First week with a newborn, had no idea what I was doing with breastfeeding, was at my breaking point with worry and fear for my newborn when Mary stepped in and gave me a call to visit in for my first midwife check. During the check I expressed my breastfeeding concerns to Mary, she immediately was so hands on, showed me a couple of different positions, monitored what I was doing, gave me tips and explained to me how my current way was restricting the milk flow etc. Mary was incredibly informative and so so helpful, she even booked me in for an additional check in two days later to see how the breast feeding journey was going. Mary has a lot of experience and it definitely comes through in her work and in her patient care. I couldn’t be more grateful that I had that appointment with Mary.
