Julie has been a wonderful help to me. I have told my family and friends what a kind and knowledgeable person she is. There were times when I was ready to give in, but Julie has helped me round and put me on the right path. She is a good nurse and offers a good service. It’s more than a service though. It’s my lifeline.

Julie was so caring. She was a knight in shining armour. We had had days of leaks. Sleepless nights. Exhausted. Julie took time. She stayed until she was sure things were right. She spoke to our doctor on our behalf. We were too upset to talk at the time. She talked to district nurses. She organised us and settled us. A service beyond words. And she’s coming back for more.

Julie has been very attentive. She has listened to my worries and has given me time. The practicalities of my stoma aren’t an issue, but mentally I need help. Julie has done this. Also pointing me in the direction of various initiatives that Fittleworth have done and also giving me a buddy. Just fab.

Julie has helped me through a really difficult time following my operation. She has helped me deal with my bag and given lots of hints and tips. I think Fittleworth have been good and the phone call to remind me to order is good. I am still not totally confident with things but I know that Julie is ther to help me and this is great.

Julie was a very calm and understanding nurse. she listened to me and understood my worries. She has helped to heal my sore skin and provided me with stuff that does not show through my clothes. I am so sad that I am not routinely seeing her every week because she gives me that feeling that I can go out and do it!
