Julie has been coming to see me since my operation. It really hasn’t been easy. Julie is helping me come to terms with things. She knows so much and is able to help with lots of questions. She makes me laugh and we look forwards to her coming to hear her funny stories. I feel safe with julie. She has talked to the surgeon and the cancer people since I was home so I know that she has all areas covered. She is honest and really gives me all my information so I understand it, but she gives me the full story - no sesctets. She is truly a rock for us.

A cheerful nurse who helps you become real again. Julie taught me how to cope. I should honestly have done this years ago. If only I had known how being well felt! Julie has nudged me back into the real world with practical hints and tips. Also a sense of humour.

I have had a difficult time with my stoma. I have struggled to eat and have returned to hospital lots because i was dehydrated. I have welcomed julies help and feel secure when she comes round. Its almost like a therapy. She has given me confidence and has also been firm with me. I know i am frustrating at times. Really helpful to know she is ther if i need her.
