It’s always great to have a meeting with Mark, it’s like meeting up with an old friend. One who just happens to be very good at his job. He can always answer any questions or concerns I have with a professional and positive attitude. Whether it’s putting me in touch with the appropriate person or just putting my mind at rest that I’m doing fine and just need to carry on as I am.
Thanks Mark.
Mark is such a lovely person and he is excellent at the job he does . I feel so fortunate to have him as my stoma nurse. He is always able to answer my questions in detail, relieve my anxieties and promptly take care of any issues that arise to do with my stoma. He is bright and cheerful and puts a positive spin on anything that has worried me; his visits always give me a lift and he quickly replies to messages I might send. Such great Care! Thank you Mark.
I am very impressed by the care and attention that he has given to me, also that he listens and explains what needs to be done in order for the ailment to improve by creams or different pouches. I don’t know of anything that could be improved as he has always come to see me when needed.
Mark quietly listened and assessed mum's needs whilst letting her show him how she changes her bag. He then gave advice as how we could be more organised and offered tips on how she could improve her bag changing experience. Mark also has a good way with people making sure mum was comfortable at all times. He also took his time and was very patient with us. Prior to his visit we'd had an awful time with leaks, however since Marks visit mum hasn't had one leak.
Mark has been my stoma nurse since I first had my surgery. He really has been exceptional. He listens to my worries (I have anxiety) and always provides advice or suggests products to ease my mind completely.
I have recently had surgery in London and was discharged without any follow up care. After contacting Mark he arrived at my home on the same day to provide essential care and order an emergency prescription of bags and baseplates to suit the problem. Mark has attended further visits to provide all of my nursing care since leaving the London hospital. I know he says "it's my job" but he really does go above and beyond in my opinion. My family and I are very thankful we have had Mark along with us for my stoma journey.
