I was fortunate in that I didn't have to contact Andrew as I had no issues about which I was concerned. I was lucky! At all the clinical appointments he was helpful over issues raised and was reassuring when the possible side effects treatment were discussed. He exudes quiet confidence and, although I didn't need to contact him, I knew that if I did at any time, his quiet confidence would help. Towards the end of the Radiotherapy treatment, I was seen by a Dr, who failed to hand me the blood test form for the PSA test pro to my appointment with Tracy Ellis. I was unaware of this until Andrew telephoned me the day before the appointment, and realising the situation, he arranged for me to visit Chorley Hospital for the necessary bloods. Andrew Hunnisett is the right man in the right job. Thank you for all your support.

Andrew was a very knowledgable, professional and a caring Nurse who was sympathetic to our needs. We felt relaxed when speaking with him and able to ask difficult and technical questions which he was able to explain in layman’s terms His positive and reassuring manner was very welcome in dealing with the course of treatment that I was undergoing A special mention to the whole team at the Rosemere Cancer Centre Preston who were outstanding Thank you all very much X

The planning of the treatment was excellent. The attention to detail in the daily care system was outstanding. The timing of the reviews worked perfectly for us as we had time to assess / think about questions. Our questions were answered very comprehensively and we were given ample time to talk & we never felt rushed - Very important! Andrew was very approachable and we felt that we really could contact him, if necessary. He came across as a genuine hardworking professional with a caring attitude where the patient was important. The team, including Andrew , catered for all our needs during the 7/8 weeks of radiotherapy treatment.
