Gill is absolutely amazing so caring and compassionate always there to help in my early days of having my stoma I don't know what I would of done without her. I really struggled to begin with had a few problems both with the stoma and mentally Gill was fantastic she sorted new products out that solved my problems, talked and listened to my worries She is such a wonderful lady I would not be where I am today without her she is a credit to her job and the NHS, she is not just a nurse but a friend in difficult times.

Despite the difficulties in getting ostomy bags to properly adhere, Gill persevered until she found a solution. She also was very firm with the consultant who kept wanting to have me discharged even though we couldn't initially get a bag to adhere for more than 10 or 12 hours. Having devised a combination of dressings which worked, Gill then messaged me in hospital in her free time at the weekend to check that I was managing - which I was thanks to her expert tuition. Furthermore, Gill has messaged me some 7 weeks after my procedure to check on progress. All in all, therefore, it is only fair to say that Gill goes well above and beyond the call of duty in her dedication to her patients.
