Like my experience the previous day in A&E, the process was very efficient and professional. I elected to have a local anaesthetic and wasn't sure how I would feel about the operation, but the staff were tremendous, very professional, inspired confidence and put me at ease. They explained the process at each stage and kept me informed throughout the 1h:20m operation, checking on how I was feeling. It was important to me that one of the surgeons explained the operation and the anaesthetist explained how pain would be managed. The post-op process and discharge was also very efficient and professional. My follow up appointment was made, my drugs provided quickly and my aftercare instructions explained thoroughly. Someone also accompanied me to make sure I was collected safely. Like the previous day, an outstanding service and team. Many thanks.
