i visited a&e in july last year after damaging my shoulder after 7 months i am still waiting for treatment it took 6 months for a diagnosis treatment couldnt be worse
Food was not required
Checking yesterday at 0730, I did not expect to be greeted at reception with such cheerfulness.
Then the checking in process was courteous and respectful, staff, aneasthetist and surgeon were kind and thoughtful. Then, after a somewhat long wait, the long walk to the theatre - hopefully an improvement coming with the new building work? - to theatre check in, again every kindness shown, and onto the anaesthetists, who were helpful and witty, the surgery, thankfully, passed me by to awake on recovery feeling quite well.
Back to the Day surgery unit, long haul again, and excellent attention and discharge mid afternoon.
I felt I had my own personal BMW. Bravo Magnificent Warwick !
Staff in corridors ask you if you need help, they are great. Parking is interesting but not impossible. The place is immaculate and I’ve never waited in queues to book into receptions. The excellent system they have of the patient waiting in one central area and staff collecting them to take to xray, plaster area and returning them to the next area or to the consultant area to see the doctor. I have made quite a few visits and never been there longer than 2.5 hours and this included X-rays, plaster cast and seeing the doctor. Superb hospital and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I travelled over 1 hour to come here whereas I have a local hospital that’s 10 minutes away but Warwick Hospital is definitely worth the journey.
I came to A&E with my daughter the care from start to finish was outstanding. Thank you to you all
I felt as though I was being cared for and not just being processed through a system
Incredible team as always. Thank you for everything. Eva was treated amazingly and we couldn’t be more grateful
I brought my mum, Sheila, into A&E following 2 fainting episodes first thing in the morning on 2 consecutive days. All the staff who dealt with her were amazingly kind and respectful. First the triage nurse who was super efficient, and then we were taken to a bed in Res where many checks were done. We were cared for by Josh and Sian and Siad who were on duty on Saturday 30th December during the afternoon / early evening. They made her feel at ease and listened to as well as undertaking the medial checks they needed to do. They took time to explain things to me and to mum so we both knew what was happening and why. They took time to care for the whole person. Given it was a Saturday and over the Christmas period, I was really so grateful for the time and attention that they gave to her. Josh called me before finishing his shift to give me an update and to reassure me that she was doing well. You have an absolutely fantastic team in A&E. Thank you so much.
(When I thanked Josh on the phone, he jokingly said I could write to his manager to let her know. So please pass on this message to Clare Wilson! Josh was fantastic!)
Your staff are genuinely warm compassionate and kind and humane individuals . They treat others with such care and concern
