Although the ward was very busy, I had a positive experience & the staff listened to me when I couldn't push anymore after 26 hrs of labour = this is extremely important & in control of my baby's birth.

Good : the attitude and approach taken by all staff to both me (Mum) and my partner. Very inclusive of partner. I felt that all 3 of m/wives I had during actual labour went over and above, they made me feel as comfortable as I could be (considering). They were also very enthusiastic and I felt they actually cared. Fantastic. Bad: Initially we had 3 different m/wives within approx 1hr, felt on our own a little.

Fantastic midwives, advocated our wishes well. First doctor we saw seemed over concerned about what was convenient for the ward.

Treated very well and looked after when help was requested.Would prefer rooms with less women in the ward so personal space/privacy is a little better.
