Came in with arm and chest pain. Seen very quickly but rash I showed dr was dismissed and turned out to be shingles. I feel I wasted some of their time but they should also be vigilant to other symptoms.
Overall fabulous service and am immensely grateful

I was sent to a and e by 111. When I had been there for 90 minutes I was called in. And was asked to leave as I had a minor illness and they were busy. I did not ask to go there I was told by 111.
The nurse said to go back at 8.30am Sunday first come first served
Then on the discharge form they sent it was written I had walked out which it didn't.
I knew I had a severe case of conjunctivitis and when I phoned 111 I was hoping to get an out of hours appointment.

The receptionist was lovely.
I think if 111 are saying to you to go to a and e they need to let receptionists know by email.

Coordination between the parties was poor. The medic who interviewed me at the end did not know that I had had blood tests and that the results were available. Also he advised me to get in contact with my Primary Care doctor and that advice was not given to my Primary Care physician which made my life more difficult afterwards

The best hospital I've ever been too! Not the closest hospital for me to travel to but will definitely use this hospital from now on! Staff are excellent and the hospital was very clean.
