Friendly informative staff and excellent care. Many thanks
I had my 36 weeks scan at Warwick hospital
It was the second scan I was having at Warwick hospital, as I had all my previous care in Good Hope hospital.
It was no one at the reception desk so I had to walk to different members of staff working at different wards to ask about my appointment.
The operator who did the ultrasound was the same lady as last time called Nerinder
Any question we asked, was ignored, she was in rush to get us out of the scan room. Me and my husband asked if we can get any photo of the ultrasound she agreed first then at the end of the scan she refused to give us any photo, she did the exact same the last scan we had
When I asked her for the reason she replied oh your baby was not posing anyway!
Even though whenever we asked for photo at Good Hope hospital we always got it and we were treated with respect and kindness there.
When I asked again she shrugged her shoulder and said: “I don’t know, I didn’t take any”
She handed the report paper to us and asked us to leave, these two appointments left us shocked about how different we are treated here at Warwick compared to Good Hope!
Having suffered prostate problems for decades and cost me my career in shiftwork, I pushed for some treatment and in January 2020 Mrs Maya Harris and her team operated on me and from that time onward my life has gradually improved, especially with sleep. Follow up work by her team, having spotted a kidney stone, improved my prostate and flow even more. I now regularly get 5-6 hours continuous sleep and on a few occasions slept through the night this year. I back up their efforts with taking their lifestyle advice as best I can and I am grateful to all those who have contributed. I just thought they should know how appreciated their efforts are.
I was treated by Dr Tso in both July and August. He was absolutely lovely. Kind, thoughtful, gave me time and I felt went above and beyond.
You have decided to stop emailing out my prescriptions for methotrexate. Surely you could send the prescription electronically to my GP or my local pharmacist? It is a one hour return trip to our nearest hospital, and apart from our time & fuel, you are increasing the workload at the hospital pharmacy. If you can’t/won’t send things electronically, you should be able to print out address labels as we always used to in the old days. You are making things more & more difficult for patients. We already have to order and collect our other regular prescriptions every 4 weeks, instead of trusting the GPS to know how often to prescribe.
Speedy service and 100% total love, care and attention provided from the minute we arrived.
Thank you
Stoma nurse team were excellent throughout my two stays in Warwick. They understood I was dealing with a new and sensitive experience and were a great source of information, support and reassurance.
I presented with ingrowing eyelashes. Which they had not treat before. However they checked me over and were able to deal successfully with my condition. Very impressed with the way I was dealt with. Very professional and supportive. I have, in the past, attended other nhs centres where I have been refused treatment for this condition. I was driving home the next day (230 miles). Without the treatment I could not have driven.
.
Both the doctor and all nurses - Jess and Shannon and the other two ladies were lovely. They made us feel very comfortable and were able to explain everything.
The room was decorated beautifully and was very clean.
