I was treated very well by most of the staff on Hatton Ward. I did have some issues with rude agency staff, but the non-agency staff who worked on the ward were superb. A special shout-out goes to the following staff: Charity Cismiose Lorraine Smith Kerry Lawrence Stacy Thomson Siobhan Deer Eva Lopez Chiu Tsang Susan Patterson Dr Noor Uddin Roxy Mcvitie Dr Chris Marguerie Liz O'Neill Harjot Kang (Jyoti) They all treated me especially well, with dignity and respect throughout my time knowing them. I am very grateful for the care they provided me.

Suggested improvements
The doctors from the orthopedic team could have treated me better, a lot of the time they did not keep me in the loop with my care, decisions were made (especially in regard to the MRI) that weren't run past me or explained to me appropriately without strong encouragement from the nurse staff on the Hatton ward. There needs to be a strong staffing improvement with regard to the Night Shifts. I.e. there is not enough, my neighbour waited nearly an hour to get paracetamol via IV whilst she was still suffering with sepsis. The nurse on duty (agency worker) insisted she was giving everyone their oral medication first, and then will return and provide the medication via IV. There were several night, at the start of the shift I had to wait an hour for pain medication due to lack of staff.
