Although dept is not big enough for demand, I was looked after and treated accordingly in the spaces I was allocated. There are obvious staff shortages and made me wonder if volunteers were allowed to help with simple things like filling up glove boxes, making patients tea etc. Putting sheets on trolleys, restocking areas.

The sister in charge of treatments and taking bloods could not see due to glasses or lights, and was very slow or tired. I wanted to help. There is clearly a lot of work to do.
