On entry to A&E observation one of the nurses was very reluctant to give pain relief even though unbearable pain was why I was there. My partner heard comments being made about me outside of the bay. When we finally got to see a doctor he was quite dismissive and not keen on further in estimation even though he was brought fully up to date with my history (although understanding the department was crazy busy when we were there). The nurse who gave me medicine was very kind and compassionate to my situation.

A little more compassion and belief of severity of symptoms. I have since been told that my condition may well have worsen which would result in emergency surgery and this could have been picked up earlier.
