Everything has been perfect and the staff are wonderful.
Thank you all very much.
Thank you to all, you have been very supportive.
Written on behalf of my father.
A good environment for recovery and rehab. Friendly caring staff.
Only major potentially dangrous issue was the discharge.
When looking for care we were told that he must have two people with him whenever he is walking, because he is not safe to walk without 2. This was confirmed again when discharge was planned.
Ambulance had been provisionally booked for Friday afternoon, to be confirmed when we knew what time the care could start. On Thursday we were told that carer could not arrive before 1730. I informed nursing staff of this and was told that it would be fine, they would change the transport to after 1700.
I had a phone call at approx 1400 from my 89 year old mother who has problems with her memory, saying that Dad was home. I could not leave work early as I had been called out on an urgent duty visit.
the ambulance staff had taken Dad in and sat him in his chair.
When I arrived, shortly after 1730 with the care, Dad was in bed. He had walked 15 meters with his frame and my mother. Staff on the ward were not allowed to walk him on their own and sending him home early put both my parents at very high risk of injury. Fortunately neither of them were injured
Very enlightening. Caring and rewarding.
The professional abilities of the team helping my wife and the obvious caring of them all.
Posative gave me a feeling of hope that things would improve.
Relaxing and informative.
Parking very difficult and confusing. Care received excellent.
