So.. I had surgery on my arm to deal with a serious open wound.. I was sent home with no care plan at all and had a phone call telling me I’d missed an appointment for a follow up.. appointment was rearranged for me.. however I ended up having a serious swelling in my had before the appointment.. I went back to hospital and eventually saw someone from orthopaedics.. he didn’t examine the area at all and told me it was not compartment syndrome.. I went to a different hospital where I was seen immediately and was rushed to surgery for my compartment syndrome to save my arm.. This hospital has been a let down after let down.. This is just one of many bad experiences I’ve had with Blackpool Victoria Hospital.. Go to Preston instead
