Review of Brian House Childrens Hospice written by a family member
27th July 2024

Fred had a short stay at Brian house last week. He enjoyed his time there and dad knew he would be well cared for by Brian house staff. Fred’s stay gave dad a break from him caring duties and the chance to catch up with jobs at home.

She said that she does not have many family member's so Brian House staff one more than just respite care, they are like family to herself, she was really happy with the crafts Esme took home as Esme is not keen on crafting, but staff always find a way to do some!

Leander had a two night short stay at Brian house last week. She enjoyed her stay and wanted to be involved in all the activities the staff were doing. Mum knew she would be well cared for by the amazing Brian house staff and took the opportunity of pampering herself in a long bath, which is impossible when caring for Leander.

Ziva come to Brian house last week for day care. She loved her time there and playing with the fantastic caring staff. This gave mum time to spend quality time with her other children. Mum thinks the Brian house service is wonderful.

All interactions with dad were explained clearly and patiently ensuring dad fully understands, enabling him to make fully informed decisions. Everyone is so caring and friendly. Dad is happy and relieved to be here as per his wishes.
