Because it would be far better if the consultant had listened to what treatment i needed and they just went ahead with what they think i needed.

Suggested improvements
Give different medications a chance.

Because i feel that the consultant and his team of doctors have willingly put me on medication that i am unable to cope with for several reasons. Depacote and lithium are detrimental to the health of a baby in the womb. According to the consultant I am not pregnant. However, i performed 3 pregnancy tests which overwhelmly prove that i am. I do understand that it is viewed as a false pregnancy but with morning sickness which could be from the alleged pregnancy or the adverse side effects to the lithium.

Suggested improvements
I feel that having a psychiatrist that have knowlege of the patient pre admission is totally necessary as without this you cannot make judgement. The nurses on the whole are exceptional expect for a few who have behaved with cruelty to me.

Review of Sapphire Ward
1st September 2024

from a disabled persons point of view i have been treated with upholded dignity and care, my dignity has been respected by all staff, staff will help me make tea and coffee due to my ability, some staff will lower these items so that i can do this myself. I enjoy the fact the staff ask me my mood before singing me out for leave. I respect that staff search me on my return and they do this with dignity. All the staff, overall, experience has been 5 star

Suggested improvements
Only thing is for all staff to ensure that tea and coffee is on a level that that disabled people can access
