Everyone I spoke to and was involved with was so kind and helpful. For the first time in my life people believed in me and appeared to understand me. The activities was enjoyable and meeting the other patients and making communication with them. I enjoyed helping too. Thank you All

No pressure course, really enjoyed the content and no pressure from the tutors. Being honest I preferred the on line session

Review of Opal Ward written by a patient

I find it very difficult that this is a mixed ward, Ruby having been a single sex ward. The behaviour, language and volume of some of the men can be intimidating and frightening at times. There is a very long period of time between tea and breakfast. Tea from 5:15 and breakfast not until 8:30. I would suggest that lunch at 12:45 and tea at 6:30 would be an alternative. I feel this would be workable.

The service is more of a shoulder to cry on as I am a family member supporting someone with mental health issues.
