Literally nothing good!! It was terrible

Suggested improvements
Lack of person centred care to the individual (me) Patient liaison service nurse who referred me said they’d include stressors around unknown call times, I also mentioned this at appt and explained the anxiety around it but wasn’t listened to it. No actual support, just given advice to contact outside agencies basically When did recommend something with mental health services, SUN, it’s not even up and running and didn’t couldn’t even give details about what it was or involved. I had to look this up online afterwards cos no information was given. Also being told about group stuff despite me saying groups are not for me! Did have a follow up call which was basically just, ‘try these meds and wait for psychology still’ it’s been nearly 2 years!!!!! Oh and And I had to chase my GP to actual get a prescription rather then at least be given the first one by whiteleaf. Each time I’ve had contact with them, it’s been pointless because no actual help comes from it. And I do not look forward to if/when the next time I’m referred to them. The system and service is wholly inadequate and yet services/professionals are still surprised about the rate of mental health and suicides increasing. Hardly surprising when there is literally no support
